Sem France Loire Vitus 979 Bicycle Frame - Earlier Issue Frame 58cm - 1980

A superb example of the earlier issue Vitus 979 from 1980 and is frame number 655 ( Made in May 1980)

The steerer is alloy ( the later steel steerer came in shortly after)

It has bottle cage mounts - these came in in after frame number 500

Later frames do not have the top tube guides as this has.

A superb frame , somewhat rarer than the later models. Definitely for the collector and/or enthusiast.

Frame is straight and without dents but does have some small marks from use , here and there.

Overall stunning!

A note about our used bicycles & Frames. All Items are genuine vintage and whilst in full working order, may also so show signs of age or own some distinguishing marks. These small imperfections are commensurate with what is expected of a bike of this age.The bikes are not new.
