This is a stunning example of an Eddy Merckx made high end racing bicycle.

One owner from new.Owner bought this bicycle to train on and prepare for time trials.He used it only a few times before his work took him overseas. The bike remained in dry storage until , some years later he returned to UK and once again had time for cycling. By then his preference was for touring. As a result the Merckx has remained unused since.The bicycle has very little evidence of use and is really in a near perfect condition. The frame, group set and wheels are almost in the condition they were when new.The frame comes with the original fork - when new the customer opted for a Chrome fork. The original colour coded/ decal scheme matching Columbus fork in yellow has never been used other than when originally fitted to the whole bike ( the result is a couple of little marks where the brake callipers sat) . It's yours to decide if it should now be used.
