CT Wallis Audax Special - Curly Stays Designer Select

CT Wallis Audax Special - Curly Stays Designer Select

About this Bike:

CT Wallis Audax Special - Curly Stay

A beautiful  example of the bicycle that CT Wallis was known for creating.

Now old aged, CT Wallis was previously known for constructing hand-made steel frames of a very good standard. This example was made in the early 1980's. It has had one previous owner and was recently returned to C T Wallis for refurbishment.  The result is what you see. It has a little patina and some evidence of colouring over chips etc.

Over all an exquisite presentation of a classic bike.

Please note given the equipment , this bicycle would not eligible for an Eroica ride - although it would be possible for the new owner to make relatively simple adjustments to make it so.

The bicycle also comes with  mudguards ( previously on the bike)  - making it eligible for an Audax event.

These small imperfections are commensurate with what is expected of a bike of this age.The bikes are not new.
