nicely made frame

colour work and decals majority is intact

Some marks/chips to paint to frame

Any of the marks can be addressed if you need to - easy colours to match. Personally I don't think it is needed.

Ideally intended for racing but could be suitable for youth with the right wheel size

Nice livery of blue, white and red trim

Frame probably dates to somewhere in the Late 1980's/1990's

Both front and rear have hole for brakes

I can't offer an explanation regarding the one adjuster mount unless the front derailleur was used simply to guide the chain. Alternatively the frame came as standard with the braze on clamp and it was not required.

Measurements are centre to centre:

Top Tube :54cm

Down Tube 58cm from seatpost entry but 54cm CTC

54cm frame

*Additional Info

It's possible this was used for road racing or time trials using a 650b wheel at the front and 700c at the rear.Though it would be a fine line with the brake drop (50mm) and tyre clearance. I would guess at 650b front and back to be honest if that was the case .

Ref my notes below about 26"   - This  provides an estimate for you iro brake drop for 650b.

I have previously set this up with that combination but did not take  650b brake drop measurements. (of course 650b fit in both front and rear)

650b wheels are readily available

a 700c at the rear would have a 50mm brake caliper drop requirement. But would not fit in the front

Another combination

I have fitted 24 inch junior/youth race wheel (Picture of wheel Set Up) and reach required at back is 85 and front 65  -

this may mean that this option is pushing it a bit , so a slightly larger wheel would be better.

Rear Wheel Spacing is 130mm I have had a wheel with a 6 speed in quite comfortably. Front 100mm.

The bottom bracket was absent when i acquired this so is not included.  Shell measurement is 70mm

Shimano 600 headset included.

With thanks
